Actively contributes to the advancement and development of women either inside or outside his/her own organization. Helps create or support leadership development programs, designed to encourage women to increase their levels of participation and engagement.
DISTINGUISHED PAYMENTS PROFESSIONAL
A lifetime achievement honour, to recognize a leading woman who has made a significant contribution to the payments industry. It will be awarded to a woman who is an acknowledged trend-setter, role model, and positive contributor to the overall positive image of the industry.
This person has combined professional excellence with a demonstrated commitment to advancing accurate knowledge about payment products and services. Has led initiatives that provided effective and accurate information concerning the payments industry directly to payment system users or other stakeholders which led to new insights or regulations.
The winner has promoted payments innovation through creativity, vision, and perseverance in her organization or the payments industry. Has been instrumental in promoting innovations or creative process re-engineering.
Combines professional excellence with a demonstrated commitment to advancing and supporting women in the payments industry. Has led initiatives resulting in the advancement of women in the payments industry, and is actively involved within the payments community at large. Has demonstrated leadership, vision, and perseverance in her career.
The Women in Payments® Rising Star Award will be awarded to a woman under the age of 40 (as at January 1, 2018), who has demonstrated leadership and professional excellence in the payments industry, and is currently employed in the USA. Multiple or self-nominations are permitted.
